LEADERSHIP PURPOSE AND FUNCTION IN THE CHURCH

In this lesson we summarize the basic function and purpose of leadership in the church.


First, we need to be reminded of that great text in Eph 4:1-16:
1. Leaders must see that the church is serious about maintaining the unity of the church in the bond of peace.
2. Leaders are in the equipping business.
3. The goal of leadership is getting every member involved in some form of ministry with the ultimate goal of bringing glory to God through the church.
