A Basic Set of Bible Commentaries, not too expensive, suitable for bible class teachers in the Old and New Testaments, that should be in every church library would be:

The Tyndale New Testament Commentaries, InterVarsityPress,
           Eerdmans.  (
These commentaries are constantly being updated, and are well
               written.)

Tyndale Old Testament Commentaries, InterVarsityPress, Eerdmans.
           (
These  commentaries are constantly being updated, and are well  written.)
Living Word Bible Commentaries, ACU Press
College Press NIV Commentaries, College Press
The New Jerome Bible Commentary, Prentice Hall

Every Church Library and Bible Class Teacher should have a good Bible Dictionary or Bible Encyclopedia.  We recommend something like the:
      Baker Bible Dictionary
      HarperCollins Bible Dictionary
      Zondervan Bible Dictionary
      Eerdmans Bible Dictionary.

A good Bible Concordance should also be in the Bible Teacher's and Church Library.  We recommend:
     Cruden's Concise Concordance

     Cruden's Concordance
     New Strong's Concise Concordance
     New Strong's Exhaustive Concordance
     Young's Analytical Concordance

Serious Bible Students will also like one of several CD Bibles for Computers.  We recommend the following:
           Logos Bible (many translations available)
Logos Library Systems (includes search capability,
                     dictionaries, lexicons, and maps)
PC Study Bible (full packet as in Logos)
